TAO TE CHING – CHAPTER  7

Heaven endures; Earth lasts a long time.

The reason why Heaven and Earth can endure and last a long time-

Is that they do not live for themselves.

Therefore they can long endure.

Therefore the Sage:

Puts himself in the background yet finds himself in the foreground;

Puts self-concern out of his mind, yet finds his self-concern is preserved.

Is it not because he has no self-interest,

That he is therefore able to realize his self-interest?

This always resonates my mind and reminding also the teaching of Christ.

This is the ancient wisdom and secret of life kept abundant in every aspects; open your hands and empty yourself.

When you have a certain desire in your mind an are filled with it up to your neck, there is no space the miracle happens or the energy of Universe comes in and works itself. therefore Lao tzu speaks to you:

“Look at Heaven over your head and  down Earth, See, feel and listen to them, how are they?”

This teaching must be of the natural law, when your glass is filled, you can’t pour more water however only few seems to believe in and follow this law, yes it’s hard to believe until you experience it.
